The course aims to introduce the student to the knowledge of the Italian legal system, in its fundamental and characterizing elements, with in-depth analysis of the issues related to the management and organization of public authorities and public functions in relation to the community of citizens, institutional aspects and the dynamics of power management with particular regard to forms of participation within local, national and supranational systems.

Programma

The Public Law course is divided into two modules.
Module I covers the following topics: theory of social groups; the normative social groups; the structure of the legal system; power and its species; power-sharing techniques; the forms of exercise of power: the legal norm and the provision; subjects; interests; the goods; subjective legal situations; the legal facts; human behaviors; the legal effects; the responsability; the regulatory levels of government (international, European Community, state, local); the organization of public authorities; public functions (political direction, regulation, administration, jurisdiction).
The II Module deals with the Italian legal system and the regulatory principles of its political, legislative, administrative and jurisdictional activity.
